In short: we pass your request to garages and show you what they say. We are not a garage.
Our role
FixMyCarQuote is an introduction service. We collect your repair request and contact garages in order to obtain offers. We are not mechanics and we perform no repairs.
We do not diagnose
The categories and descriptions in the form exist to route your request, not to establish what is wrong with your vehicle. Only a garage can diagnose it, and the garage is responsible for that diagnosis.
No guarantee of offers or pricing
We do not guarantee that a garage will respond, nor the number of offers, the response time, the price, or availability. If we receive nothing, we will tell you.
You choose
Any offer passed on is the garage's proposal, not a contract with us. You are free to decide whether to deal with a garage. The agreement for the work is between you and that garage.
Prices can change
An offer is based on the information you gave us. After inspecting the vehicle a garage may find the necessary work differs, and the final price may therefore differ from the initial offer.
Free for you
Submitting a request and receiving offers costs you nothing, and you are never obliged to accept one.
Accurate information
Please give accurate information about your vehicle and the repair you need: a garage cannot produce a useful offer from inaccurate information.

Changes
We may update these terms. The date above indicates the version in force.
