What changes the price

- Which section
- A muffler, a mid-pipe, a manifold and a catalytic converter are nowhere near the same price. The converter is by far the most expensive part of the system.
- Weld or replace
- A small hole in otherwise sound pipe can sometimes be welded. A section corroded along its length has to be replaced.
- Corroded fasteners
- On a vehicle that has seen several winters here, clamps and bolts often have to be cut off. That adds time.
When an inspection is needed
